Watch NASCAR Live in 2019 With VPN

This year’s NASCAR season is about to heat up. Since the release of schedules at the end of December, fans have been anxiously awaiting the start of the season. On February 10th at 3 PM EST on FS1, they can finally tune in. Whether you’re a diehard fan or a casual observer, FlashRouters has you covered for the best ways to watch NASCAR live in 2019.

Introducing NASCAR’s 2019 Season

This season is set to be exciting. The Daytona International Speedway for the Advance Auto Parts Clash starts on February 10 at 3 PM EST. It is the first qualifying race for the Daytona 500.

In the 2018 edition, Joey Logano won the competition after finishing 1st in the Champion 4 race. Logano hopes to reclaim the title but will face stiff competition from Martin Truex Jr. (2017 winner), Kevin Harwick, and Kyle Busch, who finished 2nd, 3rd, and 4th, respectively in 2018.

The 2019 season also features the unveiling of Ford’s Mustang GT. Following Ford’s decision to discontinue the Ford Fusion, the company introduced the Mustang GT as its new vehicle.

How to Watch NASCAR Live in 2019

In the US, broadcasting rights for NASCAR is split between 4 channels: Fox, FS1, NBCSN, and NBC. This is part of a 10-year deal signed between Fox, NBC, and NASCAR. Currently, the deal is in its fifth year. In cases of a scheduling conflict, races are transferred to CNBC or USA from NBC, and to FS2 from Fox.

Fox will broadcast the first 16 races. Ten of those races, including the Daytona 500, will be broadcast through Fox, while six will be broadcast through FS1. NBC will take the remaining 20 races, splitting them between NBC (7 games) and NBCSN (13 games). Both broadcasters also provide a Spanish-language feed that is available through Telemundo Deportes, Universo, and Fox Deportes.

Watching NASCAR Live OTT

For many fans, especially those who have cut the cord, accessing Fox and NBC is impossible on its own. Luckily, OTT (Over The Top) services give fans the opportunity to follow their favorite sport. Watching NASCAR live is possible thanks to the following services:

  • fuboTV: NBC (in select markets), Fox Sports (through RSNs), NBC Sports, Universo, CNBC, USA, FS1, FS2, and Fox Deportes.
  • SlingTV:
    • Sling Blue: NBC, NBC Sports, USA, Fox Sports RSNs, FS1, and FS2
      • News Pack Add-on: CNBC

Watch NASCAR Live without Cable

For fans who have cut the cable cord, NASCAR offers a number of their own services. First off, there’s NASCAR Drive. This free option allows fans to watch the action from inside the driver’s car. Fans can view driver stats, leaderboards, side-by-side camera views of all available drivers, and Fantasy Live Progress. However, NASCAR Drive does not offer sound.

For the superfan, there’s NASCAR Scanner. NASCAR Scanner is an audio option that gives fans the opportunity to experience the race through their ears. With Scanner, users can listen to team communications and in-car audio. With this tool, fans can be in the thick of the action, and follow each driver and team. This option costs $2.99/month or $17.99/season.

Fans who want to watch and follow the action, there’s NASCAR Raceview. NASCAR Raceview is NASCAR’s own service to watch games. Users have the option of choosing between paying a monthly fee of $9.99 or $79.99 for the entire season. However, there’s only one problem. NASCAR Raceview is a digital rendering of live games. Therefore, you’re not seeing the actual races, but a visualization of the race. While it does offer cool features, like multiple angle views, and the ability to move throughout the race and focus on a specific car, it’s not the same as actually watching the game.

Best VPNs for Watching NASCAR Live

OTT services are an excellent way to get rid of cable, but they still don’t allow complete customization. All OTT services offer a plethora of other channels and need some level of customization. In most cases, these services end up running at least $40/month, not including all the charges of customization. Meaning, fans will need to shell out an extra $500 to watch their favorite races.

NASCAR’s own products, though less expensive, do not provide the ability to watch live games. Additionally, fans stuck outside of the US need to find local bars that are showing the game or pay up for local channels. While that might suit expats, business or vacation travelers may not be staying long enough to access such services. So what are they to do?

Sign up for a VPN, of course!

VPN is an acronym for Virtual Private Network. A Virtual Private Network filters an Internet connection through a remote server and back. Tunneling between servers encrypts the connection. It also changes the appearance of a user’s geo-location. For example, if you are in Canada and want to watch NASCAR live, selecting a stateside VPN server will open the door to accessing geo-blocked content.

Here are some providers that are excellent for watching NASCAR live from abroad:

Watching NASCAR Live with FlashRouters

While using a VPN is excellent for unblocking content, VPN subscriptions can become difficult to maintain if there are too many devices to connect. Plus, while a VPN will allow you to watch NASCAR live from anywhere, not all devices have native VPN support. However, with a FlashRouter, NASCAR fans can take their gaming system, AppleTV, or Amazon Firestick, and connect them to a VPN.

Premium performing VPN Router for HideMyAss - HMA 2017-2018- watch nascar live

European Football Season Begins: Best VPNs For Football Streaming

It is finally August. If you are a fan of European football, this is more than likely your favorite time of the year. August is when the UK Premier League, Spain’s La Liga, Germany’s Bundesliga, Italy’s Serie A, and France’s Ligue 1 all take off. However, if you are outside of Europe, you may have some difficulty streaming the matches of your favorite teams. This is due to the fact different streaming services have geo-regional rights for broadcasting the games. Furthermore, this means football matches are not available worldwide. Fear not, FlashRouters has the best VPNs for football streaming!

Table Of Contents

What Is A Virtual Private Network And Why Do I Need One?

Before we delve into the best VPNs for football streaming, we should discuss what a Virtual Private Network is and why it is pertinent to use one. Subscribing to a VPN service like IPVanish or ExpressVPN allows users to change their geo-location by routing their traffic through a remote server. For instance, if you are in the United States but are connected to a VPN server in the United Kingdom, your connection will appear as if you are in the UK.

If you are looking to connect to a streaming service that only allows traffic from a certain geo-region, a VPN can help solve the issue. Simply connect to a VPN server in that area, and the streaming service will read your traffic as if it is coming from that location.

The Best VPNs For Football Streaming

Premium performing VPN Router for HideMyAss - HMA 2017-2018

If you are geo-blocked to access any of the above stations, using a Virtual Private Network will allow you to change your location and watch European football from anywhere.

As all of the games are available to stream in the United States, using a VPN provider like ExpressVPN, NordVPN, or IPVanish will allow you to easily access a US server and stream the matches from your favorite teams.

Services like fuboTV or DAZN sports can cost anywhere from $9.99 per month to $44.99 per month. A VPN subscription from PrivateInternetAccess can cost as little as $2.91 per month, allowing for unprecedented access to your favorite sports and content!

Better yet, you can take advantage of using a FlashRouter. With a FlashRouter, you can create a VPN WiFi network in your home, encrypting all connected devices. • NordVPN – A very popular service, thanks to double data encryption feature (AKA Double VPN).
  • ExpressVPN – Popular premium VPN provider with top performance in Asia and Australia.

Furthermore, to keep up with high-quality streams and all the bandwidth involved, a high powered router is recommended as well. Better yet, a router with open-source firmware such as DD-WRT or Tomato to supercharge your performance would be preferable.

How To Stream Australian Open Tennis 2019 From Anywhere

Tennis tournaments don’t get much more thrilling than the upcoming 2019 Australian Open, which begins on January 14th. Those unable to attend the event in person will need to settle for the opportunity to stream the Australian Open to stay up-to-date on the latest happenings.

How To Watch US Open 2018

Taking two weeks off and watching the Australian Open tennis live, from the comfort of home certainly seems like an exciting prospect. Sadly, not everyone can afford to do that. For those fans that won’t be near their TV 24/7, streaming is their best bet.

And, if fans are going to live stream Australian Open tennis, they’ll need to know which channels offer a live Australian Open 2019 stream, as well as, a top router for live sports streaming.

What Happened Last Year at the Australian Open

Last year’s edition of the Australian Open was full of excitement. The men’s final saw Roger Federer defeat 2014 U.S. Open winner Marin Cilic for the title. For Federer, it was a 20th Grand Slam Title.

This year, Federer will face stiff competition for his third consecutive Australian Open title, including from Novak Djokovic and Rafal Nadal. This year’s tournament also marks the last for Andy Murray. The Scottish player announced on January 10th that he would retire from tennis after Wimbledon, due in part to a nagging hip injury.

On the women’s side, Caroline Wozniacki claimed victory over Simona Halep in a three-set game. The victory was Wozniacki’s first Grand Slam title and saw catapult to the No. 1 ranking. Wozniacki’s return to the top marked the longest period for a player’s return to the top spot (Wozniacki previously held the spot in 2012).

This season, Wozniacki’s expectations may be tempered thanks in part to her revelation of her rheumatoid arthritis diagnosis. Additionally, the competition will see the return of Serena Williams, who chose not participate in 2018, but who won previously in 2017.

Where Can I Stream Australian Open Tennis?

First things first: Streaming the 2019 Tennis Australian Open.

For those not in front of their TV for one reason or another during the Australian Open, there are plenty of options. For starters, there’s the official homepage of the Australian Open, which will provide live coverage.

ESPN: The Home of Australian Open Tennis in the US

In 2010, ESPN and Tennis Australia agreed to a ten-year extension of ESPN’s broadcasting rights to the tournament. Under the new agreement, which took effect in 2012, ESPN will broadcast the tournament until 2021. ESPN will cover all of the matches across its multiple channels and platforms – ESPN, ESPN2, ESPN3, and ESPN+.

Serious fans should take care to ensure that they have their ESPN3 AKA WatchESPN and ESPN+ connections in order, as EVERY match, including singles, doubles, juniors, and legends will be available via the ESPN App. And, all completed matches can be viewed through ESPN+.

For a full breakdown of which games will be available, fans can view ESPN’s just-published press release on where to stream the Australian Open.

Australian Open Streaming in Australia

Australian fans can rejoice in 2019. Thanks to a new six-year deal with Tennis Australia, Australia’s Nine Network, also known as Channel Nine, will stream the Australian Open until 2024. With their Tennis Channel Plus, program fans can experience 24/7 coverage with over 1000 hours of tennis for $99.99 a year.

Stream Australian Open Tennis 2019 From Anywhere With a VPN

Streaming the Australian Open has a crucial prerequisite, the right privacy protection. Due to a plethora of reasons, not all of the services above are available all over the world, but bypassing geographical web restrictions is no problem at all if you have the right VPN on your side.

A VPN service, or Virtual Private Network service, is a subscription-based service with two distinct functions. The primary function is to secure users’ online data by tunneling their online activity through encrypted servers set up globally. With near-constant hacks and government snooping all over the news, it is more important than ever to protect sensitive information with a VPN.

More relevantly for would-be streaming of the 2019 Tennis Australian Open, a VPN can help you circumvent location-specific web restrictions. All users have to do is log into your VPN and pick a server in a country that offers the streaming service they desire. As a result, a streamer’s internet-capable device is given an IP address in that very country. In this case, we recommend using an Australian-based server. That’s where most options to stream the Australian Open are available.

We can rattle off VPN recommendations all day here at FlashRouters, but in the interest of concision, we’ll just give you a few favorites that will give tennis fans exactly what they need when the games start on January 14th.

What Is Eurosport and How to Watch Eurosport Live Online

Eurosport is the premiere spot for viewing athletic events on the European continent. Whatever sporting event around the world you’re looking to watch, Eurosport covers it across at least some part of Europe. Because of the diverse makeup of countries across Europe, certain sporting events are only broadcast in certain countries. Eurosport does a remarkable job of catering to that diversity, offering coverage in 20 different languages.

What Can I Watch on Eurosport Live?

Frankly, the world of sports is your oyster with Eurosport. Tennis, basketball, rugby, F1, cycling, football (lots and lots of football, as you can imagine), and anything else you can think of gets comprehensive coverage on Eurosport and its streaming channel Eurosport Live.

For example, visit Eurosports Rugby and get immediate access to the latest scores, news, videos for each of the top rugby leagues (Guiness Pro 12, Six Nations, and the European Cup, to name a few). More a fan of the racquets? Get top flight tennis coverage including Wimbledon, the Australian Open, the US Open and much more.

Basically, if it’s a sport you care about, it’s on Eurosport Live.

What Do I Need To Watch Eurosport Live?

The Eurosport Player app is available for Apple iOS and Android devices. It is also available on Xbox 360, Xbox One, and Smart TVs.

Unblock Eurosport Player with VPN Service

Streaming Top Football and Cricket Leagues Eurosport Live

And did we mention football? You into Premier League? What MLS? Champions League? FA Cup? Bundesliga? All of these and more? No matter. Eurosport has got you covered with news, scores, videos, and live streams of games. That said, live streaming sports is a surefire way to gobble up your bandwidth. So maybe take a look at our premium DD-WRT or Tomato routers, which can handle the excess wireless usage without breaking a sweat.

Prefer Cricket? Again, Eurosport has your back, offering peerless coverage. To experience cricket with premium video streaming clarity, a high-performance wireless router like the Netgear Nighthawk X8 DD-WRT is recommended. Trust us, you don’t want to try Eurosport live streaming sports without some powerful hardware on your side. These two routers have power in spades.

Where Is Eurosport Live Available?

What Football is Available to Stream on Eurosport

Eurosport Player is available in the following countries: Albania, Andorra, Armenia, Austria, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Belgium, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Faroe Islands, Finland, France, Georgia, Germany, Gibraltar, Greece, Greenland, Guadeloupe, Guernsey, Guyane, Hungary, Iceland, Isle of Man, Israel, Italy, Jersey, Kazakstan, Kosovo, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Macedonia, Malta, Martinique, Mayotte, Moldova, Monaco, Montenegro, Netherlands, New Caledonia, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Reunion, Romania, Russian Federation, Saint Pierre and Miquelon, San Marino, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Tahiti, Turkey, Ukraine, United Kingdom, Vatican City State, and Wallis and Futuna.

So this means that your ability to stream games on Eurosport live that mean the most to you may be dependent on where you happen to be in Europe (or a European commonwealth). But rather than be subject to the complicated rules of streaming rights, just make your online presence more geographically flexible. Subscribe to a VPN service.

Aside from being a necessary hedge against the many dangers that lurk online – hackers, snooping governments, etc. – VPNs allow you to bypass regional restrictions on websites. This means you can stream channels that are only available in certain countries, even if you aren’t in any of those countries.

VPNs work by tunneling all of your online data through encrypted servers located around the world whenever you login. When you tunnel through, say, an encrypted server in Germany, you’re assigned a German IP address, which means your Internet-capable device on your VPN now thinks it’s in Germany too. Now you can stream things available in Germany. Want to location-hop to France? Pick a server in that country, and you’re virtually there.

European VPN coverage is not too hard to come by, and any of the VPN services on our supported provider list will deliver, but we’ve found that ExpressVPN, NordVPN, and IPVanish have been particularly good in this part of the world. Something to consider if you want to watch Eurosport live online from anywhere.
